These series of drawings were made, as much needed meditations yet again, during what I shall remember (perhaps you shall too) as the great pandemic quarantine of 2020. The modern world, with all its fuzzy busy internal and external noise, had to dim down its lights, its volume. We had to quiet down, we had to slow down. And while my working world usually looks like this: me drawing and tattooing in my little studio--the rest of my day also consists of me and my son taking walks to the park, me bringing him to school, doing groceries, every a couple of months or so we go to the beach or to the mountains.
Life will never be the same again. But I hope for the better.
I drew these (and will continue to add to this series) as I yearn to be in the middle of a big wide space under the stars, the moon or the sun.
